Church Rock Snowy Sunrise

Church Rock Snowy Sunrise

Church Rock, described as "Nature's church steeple," soars to about 300 inspirational feet at its highest peak. It was carved by the wind from a towering pillar of volcanic rock, a plug. Church Rock is on the Navajo Reservation just south of Tse' Biindzisgaii, more commonly known as Monument Valley, in the Arizona section of the Four Corners Area, about 10 miles east of Kayenta. It looks like a mountain cathedral.
