A tumbleweed floats in Cochise Lake with the Super Moon of 11/15/16 at sunrise. Cochise Lake effluent ponds for the town of Wilcox, are located at the north edge of Willcox Playa in southeastern Arizona. The ponds and surrounding grasslands and seasonal wetlands provide habitat for a variety of migrant and wintering waterfowl, shorebirds, sparrows, and raptors.
