Montgomery Reservoir-39

Montgomery Reservoir-39

Montgomery Reservoir is a high mountain reservoir operated by the state of Colorado and is a water source for the city of Colorado Springs. It is located along the Continental Divide and Hoosier Pass; its waters flooded the ghost town of Montgomery. The reservoir has good trout fishing along with the Middle Fork of the South Platte River. Around the general vicinity are the remains of the Magnolia Mill where mining activities took place in the late 1800s.
